Product Introduction

Vertical impact crusher is a kind of forced crusher different from the common vertical composite crusher, cone crusher and roller crusher and grinding machines like ball mill, autogenous grinding and semi-autogenous grinding machines and traditional impact crusher and hammer crusher.


Working Principle

Materials fall freely into the rotary impeller from the upper part of the machine. Under the centrifugal force, they impact with other materials distributed around the impeller in an umbrella shape. Then, the vortex will be formed between the impeller and the casing for several times of impact, friction and crushing. At last, they will be discharged from the lower hopper. Closed-circuit is formed and the granularity of finished products is controlled by the screen equipment.

Note 1: The volume is determined based on the following conditions:
a) The compressive strength of materials ≦160MPa;
b) The moisture content of materials is no more than 20%;
c) The loose density of materials is 1.6t/m3;
d) Full and even feeding.
Note 2: According to specified volume scope, the crusher of the same specification can produce products with different discharging sizes to meet various needs.


Instructions

1. Check whether there is ore bed inside the vortex crushing chamber through the peep hole. If there isn't, the materials in the chamber should be no more than 25mm. And the ore bed will be forced until materials can flow automatically.

2. Looking from the feeding inlet, the rotary direction of the impeller should be anticlockwise or the wiring should be adjusted.

3. The startup order of the crusher and the conveyor is as followed: discharging outlet belt conveyor → PL crusher → feeding belt conveyor. The crusher must be started with no load and then it can be fed after the machine runs orderly. 

4. The feeding granularity is strictly in accordance with the specifications. It's not allowed for materials of larger than the specified size to enter into the crusher, or it will lead to the imbalance and over-abrasion of the impeller which will further cause the jam of the impeller runner and the center feed pipe. So it must be cleared in time if there are lumpy materials.

5. The feeding must be stopped when discharging belt conveyor stopped. Therefore, the conveyor and the feeding system interlock should be synchronous or it will lead to the damage of the impeller and destroying the engine.

6. The feeding must be even and continuous. If there is any heavy vibration and abnormal noise, it must be stopped to check instantly. After the clearing of fault, the machine can be restarted.

7. All access doors should be tightly sealed during the operation and the belt cover should be well installed.
