Product Introduction

PEX Jaw crusher is a large composite pendulum type widely applied in various industries such as mining, metallurgy, construction, highway, railway, water resources and chemical industries for primary or secondary crushing of ores and rocks with large granularity and compressive strength of no more than 320Mpa. It is populated by consumers for its simple structure, stable performance, low cost and and big size reduction ratio.


Jaw Crusher Structure


Structure

PEX Jaw crusher is mainly consisted of the frame, eccentric shaft, big belt pulley, flywheel, moving jaw, side guard plate, toggle plate, toggle plate backseat, space adjusting screw, retracting spring, fixed jaw plate and moving jaw plate. The toggle plate plays the role of insurance.


Working Principle

Driven by the motor, PEX jaw crusher makes the moving jaw reciprocate in a given trail by eccentric shaft driven by V-belt, belt wheel and sheave, thus, materials in the crushing chamber made up of fixed jaw plate, moving jaw plate and the side canopy can be crushed and discharged from the lower discharging outlet. This series of jaw crusher is curved pressing type. The motor drives the belts and the belt pulley, and makes the moving jaw up and down by the eccentric shaft. When the moving jaw rises, the angle between the toggle plate and the moving jaw becomes bigger, pushing the moving jaw to be closer to the fixed jaw, and the materials are crushed or split at the same time; when the moving jaw descends, the angle between the fixed jaw and the moving jaw becomes smaller, and the moving jaw plate leaves from the fixed jaw plate under the action of the tension rod and the spring. And then the crushed materials are discharged from the lower outlet of the crushing chamber. Volume production can be achieved with periodical crushing and discharging of the motor which continuously rotates the moving jaw.

Notice

1. It cannot be fed with materials until the crusher runs orderly.

2. Materials to be crushed must be fed into the crushing chamber evenly to avoid the side feeding or piling feeding leading to unilateral overload or carrying overload.

3. When it runs orderly, the temperature of the bearing should not exceed 30℃. The highest temperature shouldn't exceed 70℃. The machine must be turned off instantly to check when it exceeds the above-mentioned temperature.

4. Feeding must be firstly stopped and the power can be turned off after all materials in the crushing chamber are completely discharged.

5. In the course of crushing, the power must be turned off if there is any blockage of materials in the crushing chamber that leads to breakdown of the machine. It can be restarted after clearing the materials in the crushing chamber.

6. The other end of the jaw plate is usable after the abrasion of one end.

7. After being used for some time, the loose bushing must be fixed in order not to damage the machine.


Maintenance

1. Turn off the jaw crusher and check it regularly.

2. Check the jaw crushing transmission regularly.

3. Pay attention to the lubrication of the components.

4. Check and repair the adjusting device and the gap of speedy discharging outlet, and adjust or renew the abrasive liner.

5. Renew the toggle plate and the liner; check and repair the engine bearings.
